Image X 2008

Stacey and I have spent the last few days in New Orleans at the awesome Image X Workshop 2008. This gathering of 150 wedding and childrens portrait photographers from around the world has been nothing short of amazing.

We had the honor of spending the entire day on Monday with one of our biggest inspirations in the wedding photography world, Jessica Claire. Jessica is one of the top ten wedding shooters in the world, and we were so excited to watch her shoot and pick her brain for a day. We also met Candice Brooke and some other world-class photographers that would take a good while to list!

Today Stacey and I split up and went to separate workshops. Stacey spent the day with Audrey Woulard, one of the world's top childrens photographers. I spent the day with the "delightfully" awesome Chenin Boutwell, learning a ton about branding and finding a style that fits us.

It's been a great (and long) three days so far, and we have another half-day to go before making our trip back to Birmingham. In the meantime, here's some of our favorite images from the week so far. We've been shooting a ton around the city as well and will post those later this week! Enjoy!
