My birthday present!

Sorry we haven't blogged in so long! Things have been busy with starting school but I wanted to take a brief second to share my fabulous birthday present! My poor husband has had to listen to me whine for 6 months about wanting a vintage, manual focus film camera. He always looked at me with this strange face because we have the best in Nikon digital equipment but I kept wanting a camera that was 50 years old. I'm a sucker for the old-fashioned look, and while it may not be right for every picture I just think there is a beauty about it. Anyway. . .enough of my babbling. . .here is a picture of the camera (a Rollei!!!!) and the bottom square picture is the one taken with the camera.
