A week of slacking

So Stacey and I returned from our weeklong vacation tonight, and couldn't wait to post some of our favorite pictures! I have to admit, we got a few looks carrying around our camera gear on the boat and the beach, but when you love taking pictures....

Neadless to say, there are plenty of things to shoot images of in Nassau and on Royal Caribbean's private island, CocoCay. After a mile-long walk to the end of CocoCay's beach, we found an awesome spot to put some beach chairs between two gorgeous palm trees.

Our highlight in Nassau came when we almost died 36 times after Stacey convinced me to rent a moped and "cruise" around the island. All I have to say is that was the most terrifying experience of my life! We did cruise around and find this really old Bahamian church with a pretty historic graveyard in the back...

All in all...we had an amazing time on and off the boat... and even had a chance to visit the happiest place on earth (Disney World) once we returned to Orlando.

If anyone reading this is trying to decide whether they want to have a destination wedding in the Bahama's ... go for it! (And have us shoot it!)

Here's Stacey going through the muster drill before we left Port Canaveral abord the Sovereign of the Seas...

... the sunset on our first evening at sea ...

... one of our trees on CocoCay Island in the Bahamas ...

... a random piece of wood that Stacey loved ...

... our spot on CocoCay ...

... the gorgeous Sovereign of the Seas ...

... Stacey loved this wall ...

... a craftsman carving a wood sculpture at the Straw Market in Nassau. Stacey visited the Burberry stall and bought herself a $35 Burberry purse....no really.....it's totally legit...

... Stacey snuck in a picture of yours truly in downtown Nassau, trying to figure out how in the heck I was going to get us back to the port on our moped.....alive

...Stacey was extremely happy to find her home away from home... a coffee/beach lover's dream come true

....we recruited a fellow cruiser to shoot this picture for us during our last evening on board the ship ...
